Welcome to Mercy Academy
A Classical Elementary Education in the Catholic Tradition

Founded in 1995, Mercy Academy has a mission to give glory to God and to serve souls by assisting parents in raising their children to bear witness to God's truth. Mercy Academy recognizes that parents are the primary educators of their children and seeks to help parents with this all-important task. In turn, Mercy Academy works with and depends on parents to be involved in the learning process by assisting with and monitoring their children's progress.

Mercy Academy places significant emphasis on assisting parents with the religious and moral development of their children. The school also provides an excellent academic education, emphasizing phonics, classic literature, Saxon Math, Latin. Students also study music, art, physical education and creative writing.

With dedicated teachers and purposefully small class sizes with an average student:teacher ratio of 8:1, Mercy Academy provides an ideal environment in which students are challenged and encouraged on a daily basis to do their personal best.

From kindergarten through the eighth grade, Mercy Academy students receive excellent training in the truths of the Catholic faith as part of their moral and religious formation. Our religion curriculum is based on the Catechism of the Catholic Church.  As they learn Catholic doctrine, students also discover ways in which they can put their faith into action in their daily lives.

Mass is offered on Wednesdays and Fridays at Mercy. Rosary is prayed on Wednesdays and Confession is offered each month. Families and guests are welcome to participate.

In addition to the religious training that they receive in Catholicism, Mercy Academy students acquire an understanding of how their faith corresponds to and fosters the development of human virtues that our society should hold dear and engender in all of its citizens -- truthfulness, respect, generosity, service to others, industriousness, and cheerfulness.

Mercy Academy and Relevant Radio offer half-price tuition for elementary students

A sale on tuition? Savings of 50% off private school education? It sounds too good to be true. But thanks to an agreement between Relevant Radio and Mercy Academy, tuition at the Wauwatosa elementary school will be half-price for up to three new families who enroll a student at Mercy during the 2012-2013 school year.

Mercy Academy is offering three half-price tuition
vouchers through Relevant Radio's Catholic Schools Tuition Program. The vouchers are valid for tuition only. Other costs, such as books, school supplies and uniforms, are the responsibility of a student’s parents or guardians. Only one voucher may be used by a household or family. Students must be new, and must meet Mercy’s admission requirements.

To learn more about the tuition program, or about
Mercy Academy, contact James Simpson, Mercy Academy headmaster, at 414-258-0881 or info@mercyacademy.org.
